About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting on September 21, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in New York State
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the national certification exam
