About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Florida
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Experience with long-term care settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
