About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Deer Lodge, Montana. This position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.
Responsibilities
- Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
- Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
- Develop a treatment plan identifying specific goals and activities to help patients work toward those goals.
- Assist people with various disabilities in performing different tasks.
- Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and recommend improvements based on health needs.
- Educate a patient's family and employer on how to accommodate and care for the patient.
- Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on its use.
- Assess and record patient's activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NBCOT-OTR (National Certification).
- State-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
