About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a 14-week contract in Puyallup, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to occupational therapy practice.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient functional abilities and develop strategies to improve quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Active Occupational Therapist License.
- Current BLS/BCLS Certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred).
Qualifications
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through occupational therapy.
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using medical documentation software.
Pay
Weekly Gross: $2,100.00
Schedule
35 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.
