About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital contract in Waco, Texas. This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension, offering 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel

Key Responsibilities

• Help patients regain and maintain the skills they need to live and work independently
• Provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
• Use effective communication skills when working with patients, their families, and other caregivers
• Delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants as needed

Pay

$1,900 – $2,086 per week. Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
