- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association.
- Active license in the state of Rock Island, Illinois (if applicable).

- Graduation from an accredited program in occupational therapy.
- Current registration as an occupational therapist in the state of Rock Island, Illinois (if applicable).
