Join a leading healthcare provider as a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) in Farmington, NM, at a reputable inpatient rehabilitation facility. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' recovery journeys while working in a supportive environment. Start date: ASAP (target 08/16/2026); duration: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehab setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and activities.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus.
• Dress code: Grey scrub top and black scrub bottoms.
• Position does not require floating to other units; based at a 16‑bed facility.
• Onsite parking available.

Schedule

• 32 hours per week (8‑hour shifts).
• Shift hours: 08:00‑17:00.
• Monday‑Friday with occasional early start times and one Saturday per month.

Pay

Weekly gross pay: $1,935 – $2,037 (based on 8‑hour shifts and 32.0 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
