Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,019 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, Texas. This role is in an inpatient rehabilitation and acute care hospital setting, treating stroke, orthopedic, and other patients requiring rehabilitation to discharge home or to the next level of care.

Day shift schedule, either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with 40 hours per week (5x8hrs). Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services for stroke, orthopedic, and other diagnoses in both inpatient rehab and acute care settings.
• Support patients in achieving functional goals for safe discharge home or to the next level of care.
• Provide up to 3 hours of intensive therapy per day for inpatient rehab patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license required if applicable.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
