About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services to patients in various settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Current, valid NJ professional license as an Occupational Therapist
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Proficient in using OT assessment tools and techniques
- Knowledgeable in various therapeutic interventions
- Ability to adapt to different patient populations and settings
