Responsibilities
- Evaluation, treatment, and discharge of patients
- Participation in team conferences and family training
- Recommendation and training on adaptive devices and equipment
- Adherence to unit guidelines and policies, including working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
- Minimum of 1 weekend shift per month (increased weekend flexibility highly preferred)
Requirements
- Active OT license
- Active BLS certification
- Weekend flexibility (mandatory)
- Willingness to work on IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) unit
- Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
Qualifications
- Preferred: Hospital/IRF experience (highly preferred)
- Preferred: Stroke/neuro experience
- Flexible, team player, and collaborative personality
