Travel Occupational Therapist - $1,998 per week

About the role

The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive therapy services within a facility focusing on outpatient adult and pediatric rehabilitation. The role involves evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to address musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, as well as developmental delays and other pediatric disorders.

Responsibilities

• Congduct evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve patient functionality.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Tennessee Occupational Therapist license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on both adult and pediatric populations.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice in Tennessee. Must have completed a supervised clinical fellowship and be certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
