About the role

HCS 247 is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Merced, California. The position starts ASAP and is 40 hours per week, 9 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • No new grads

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Passing score on the NBCOT certification exam

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week assignment, 8A-5P shift starting July 30, 2026, working 40 hours per week.
