Travel Occupational Therapist - $1,966 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Honaka'a, Hawaii.

About the role

This is a 26-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting, focusing on the adult patient population. The department operates 7 days per week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 5-day work week (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat rotation) and possible 1 weekend day. Hours worked per two-week period may be up to 88 hours. Availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required as the facility provides services 24/7. The Meditech EMR system is used.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and prepare and implement treatment plans for a full range of habilitation and rehabilitation cases.
• Provide occupational therapy services for an entire unit, center, or facility.
• Work under general supervision performing related duties as required.

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license; Hawaii license required by start of assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in at least one adult care setting (acute, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient).
• Current BLS certification.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
• Must arrive at the facility the Friday prior to a Monday start to complete employee health and HR clearance with no exceptions.
• All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded no later than one week before the start date.

• Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift: 8 hours, days (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (up to 88 hours per two-week period)
• 5-day work week with possible 1 weekend day (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat rotation).
