About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Toms River, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments and patient populations.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
- Ability to assess and treat physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments.
- Experience with manual muscle testing and other diagnostic procedures.

Pay
