Travel Occupational Therapist - $1,893 per week

About the Role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an immediate opening in High Point, North Carolina. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, and travel employment.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan identifying specific goals and activities to help the patient work toward those goals.
• Help people with various disabilities perform different tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and identify potential improvements based on health needs.
• Educate a patient's family and employer about accommodations and care for the patient.
• Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on its use.
• Assess and record patient's activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NBCOT-OTR (National Certification) with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
