TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Carbondale, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to promote independence and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Illinois.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of recent, relevant work experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
• Experience with various therapeutic interventions and techniques.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and standards of care.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

Tax-free stipend to be determined based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours, days.
