About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Okeechobee, FL. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluations and interventions for both outpatient and inpatient adult populations, primarily focusing on upper extremity orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient evaluations, including 10/30s, progress reports, and discharge notes.
- Perform inpatient evaluations as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Document patient progress through our Meditech system.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to enhance patient treatment plans.
- Assist with typing of reports to ensure smooth continuity of care.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Florida.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with outpatient evaluations preferred.
Schedule
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
