About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • At least one year of recent clinical experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Skills

  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Knowledge of common occupational therapy techniques and interventions.

Benefits

TRS Healthcare offers a competitive pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
