About the role
Support outpatient clinics through evidence-based interventions aimed at restoring patients' functional independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role offers flexibility in full-time or part-time scheduling within a collaborative, patient-centered environment, working with a diverse outpatient population.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop personalized care plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, upper extremity, and functional impairments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Raintree EMR and Scribe AI technology.
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
- Float rotation may be required.
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts.
- Minimum 40 hours per week.
