About the role

We are seeking an Outpatient Occupational Therapist to evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on the patients' needs and goals. You will be responsible for directing therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to establish appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at successful discharge within an established timeframe.
  • Document all care in a clear, concise, and timely manner in compliance with state, federal, and insurance requirements.
  • Ensure care is delivered under valid physician orders and meets insurance guidelines where applicable.
  • Participate in student programs, providing supervision and a learning environment.
  • Develop and implement a professional growth plan and pursue continuing education.
  • Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and follow through on action plans.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 6 months to 1 year of Outpatient clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Active licensure for the state where work will be performed.
  • Lymphedema experience is required.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 schedule, beginning in September. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (flexible).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
