Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Carthage, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assist with the management of laboring mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Monitor fetal heart tones and perform other necessary assessments.
• Participate in postpartum care and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
