Travel OB/GYN Ultrasound Sonographer - $2,446 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ob/Gyn Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1st trimester scans, BPP, Dopplers, detailed fetal anatomy, OB complete, and NT scans using GE E8 and E10 ultrasound systems.
• Work closely with a team including sonographers, RNs, a genetic counselor, registrars, a director, and a clinical manager.
• Utilize the EMR system Viewpoint for documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based sonography experience within the last 6 months.
• Active ARDMS and OB/GYN certifications.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification, valid within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• License required if applicable.
• SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri).
• Fetal Echo experience and NTQR certification preferred.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.

Qualifications

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Skills

• Knowledge of obstetric and gynecological sonography procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
