About the role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Owosso, Michigan.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Work week: Saturday - Friday
- Weekend requirements: Every third weekend, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in the OB/GYN department.
- Perform labor, triage, delivery, and postpartum couplet care.
- Conduct C-sections and assist with newborn care.
- Maintain high standards of compassion and care for new mothers and their families.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN experience is required.
- High proficiency in Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) care, including Triage and Circulating experience.
- Current certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA, Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
- Active Michigan nursing license is required.
- Exemptions for Covid vaccine are allowed.
- Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle for transportation.
Additional Information
- Requested time off (RTO) during the employment term must be noted at the time of submission, with a maximum of 5 days accepted.
- RTO requests made after submission will not be approved.
- All scheduling requests must be included at the time of application.
