About the role
The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Nursery for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Care for couplets and GYN surgical patients
- Provide Level 2 nursery care including 24‑hour testing, bilirubin monitoring, NAS scoring, late preterm and blood‑sugar management
- Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate administration, blood administration, and insulin drips
- If LD‑trained: circulate C‑sections, provide C‑section recovery care, perform cervical checks
- Float to LD, NICU, Peds, or PICU as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience OR 2 years postpartum/GYN experience
- Current BLS and NRP certification
Qualifications
- Preferred: Stable and CBC certifications
- If LD‑trained: preferred ACLS, certification in inpatient obstetrics, electronic fetal monitoring, or inpatient antepartum

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
