Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Level I Trauma PACU experience preferred
• Recent EPIC experience preferred
• Comfortable recovering both adult and pediatric patients
• Experience with ventilated patients and advanced airway management preferred
• Experience caring for a wide variety of surgical specialties including:
• General Surgery
• Orthopedic & Joint Replacement
• Neuro Surgery
• Surgical Oncology
• Thoracic Surgery
• Urology
• OB/GYN
• ENT / Dental / Maxillofacial
• Ophthalmology
• Plastic Surgery
• Bariatric Surgery
• Pediatric Surgical Patients

Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia recovery care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments following surgery
• Maintain airway, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Manage pain control and post-operative recovery
• Recover ICU patients when required
• Administer medications and monitor for anesthesia-related complications
• Float within Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II recovery areas as needed

Schedule & Call

• Primarily Monday–Friday day shifts
• Rotating weekends and occasional night shifts
• Approximately 20–24 hours of call per month
• 1-hour call response time

Submission Requirements

• Driver’s license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• Covid vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions considered)
