Requirements

  • Active RN License (license pending accepted)
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
  • Recent Epic experience
  • Experience in either Neuro Med-Surg or Orthopedic Med-Surg
  • NIHSS required for Neuro assignments
  • Total Joint Replacement experience required for Orthopedic assignments

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor Medical-Surgical patients
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Cook interdisciplinary patient care
  • Document using EPIC
  • Float to similar Med-Surg units when required
