Travel Nurse RN - Trauma ICU - $2,035 per week

Intensive Care Unit Trauma (ICU Trauma) nurse opportunity in Richmond, VA. This position involves providing specialized care to critically ill trauma patients within a 20-bed unit. The role requires collaboration with a highly experienced team to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and unit policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to critically ill trauma patients in a 20-bed unit
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Adhere to clinical standards and unit policies
• Participate in bedside report, mandatory shift huddles, and prompt shift start times
• Float to other step-down units or medical-surgical units as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid ACLS certification
• Experience in an intensive care or trauma setting
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse
• Willing to work every other weekend, holiday, or on a hard-to-fill schedule
• Ability to start immediately or within a flexible timeframe

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cardiac drips
• Experience with BIPAP/CPAP/high-flow oxygen therapy
• Experience with sepsis management
• Experience with post-catheterization care
• Experience with chest tubes
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems

• Team practices bedside report, mandatory shift huddles, and prompt shift start times
