Spire is seeking a travel nurse RN Trauma Coordinator for a travel nursing job in Katy, Texas. Specialty: Trauma Coordinator. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week. Shift: 8 hours, days. Employment Type: Travel. Shift: M-F, 7-4.

Requirements

• Five (5) years clinical experience in either emergency department or a critical care area within a designated/verified trauma center
• Three (3) years experience implementing performance improvement process/initiatives with DSHS and/or ACS, Joint Commission standards, or regulatory agencies (Including National Trauma Data Bank-NTDB)
• Effective oral and written communication skills while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Demonstrates proficiency in word processing, development of spreadsheets, data reporting, and statistical analysis
• Demonstrates the ability to critically think and perform chart abstraction
• Target candidate backgrounds: Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator, Trauma Quality Improvement RN, Trauma Program Coordinator, Trauma Quality Assurance Specialist, Clinical Quality Improvement RN, Emergency Department or Critical Care RN with trauma performance improvement experience
• Must have: ACLS, ACS, BLS, Chart Abstraction, Clinical Performance Improvement, DSHS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC/ATCN, TOPIC
