Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $3,459 per week

About the Role

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit position in Johnson City, New York. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of 09/14/2026.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a cardiac telemetry stepdown/PCU unit
• Manage patients requiring cardiac IV and PO medications, including cardiac drips at a flat rate (e.g., cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin)
• Care for patients with conditions such as anticoagulation needs, CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post-op CABG (greater than 3 days), sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, and observation patients
• Perform pre-op and post-op care for open-heart surgery patients (when transferred out of CVICU)
• Assist with procedures including TAVR, Watchman’s, mitral clips, and heart catheterizations
• Manage TR band usage, groin management, and recognize related complications
• Ensure accurate completion of skills checklists by workers
• Confirm cardio experience with workers prior to submission

Requirements

• 5 years of RN experience
• Experience in a cardiac telemetry department
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Telemetry skills checklist required
