Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry

Role & Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for patient care on the Telemetry Unit
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment and patient outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license in LA
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience, with at least 1 year in Telemetry
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex patient conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Duties

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare protocols
