Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $3,275 per week

About the role

Telemetry (TELE) nursing position in a facility setting, focusing on adult patient care with a primary emphasis on cardiology and monitoring patients' vital signs and arrhythmias. This role involves providing specialized bedside care, interpreting telemetry data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized bedside care to adult patients.
• Interpret telemetry data and monitor vital signs and arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.
• Read own telemetry strips and possess fundamental tele arrhythmia knowledge.
• Not required to titrate drips.
• Participate in float rotation to similar units and patient populations as required.
• Work weekend and holiday rotations, with opportunities for call or standby during shifts.
• Orientation includes computer education on day 1, shadowing, and on-the-job training over the subsequent days.
• Unit includes a multidisciplinary team with a charge nurse, nurse aides, and in‑house hospitalist or intensivist coverage until 6 PM daily, with telemedicine support thereafter.

Requirements

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• 1 year of experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with telemetry monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and ICU competencies is advantageous.
• Prior work experience with a facility within the past 6 months if previously employed there.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
