About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This position offers 48 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, starting on 08/24/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring setting.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telemetry equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and quality outcomes through strong assessment and communication skills.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Illinois.
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care settings.
• Familiarity with telemetry equipment and protocols.
• EPIC experience.

Pay

Pay rate: $3027.00 - $3182.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
