About the role
Telemetry (TELE) Nursing Night Shift located in an acute care facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized cardiac telemetry care on a 12-hour night shift, supporting patients with medical cardiac conditions, including congestive heart failure, using virtual telemetry monitoring systems. The position is suitable for nursing professionals with experience or skills in cardiac care and involves responsible management of drips and continuous patient monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients with common diagnoses such as congestive heart failure using telemetry monitors
- Troubleshoot respiratory equipment like High Flow oxygen and BiPAP
- Titrate drips including Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem
- Read ECG strips (no on-unit telemetry technicians are present)
- Float as needed
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience or skills in medical cardiac care
Schedule
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift
- 48 hours per week
- Unit-specific orientation: 3 shifts
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
- Charting system: EPIC

- Hospital-initiated shift cancellations possible (up to 4 shifts per assignment or 3 shifts for shorter durations)
