About the Role

Type of equipment: Telemetry monitoring with some rooms hard-wired; vein finder for IV therapy, portable pulse oximetry, as well as continuous oximetry, manual/automatic vital sign machine capabilities, blood glucose, mechanical lifts, dopplers, etc.

EMR: Allscripts, medication scanning capabilities, soft-lab.

Patient Population: Cardiac Medical patient population including hemodynamically stable MI, acute/chronic HF, new onset Afib with or without RVR, stable dysrhythmias, procedural patients (Cardiac caths (radial or femoral) without interventions, Ablations, Cardioversions, ICD, Pacers, medication loads, Cardio MEMs, pericardial drains), as well as patients requiring cardiac gtts (Amio, Dilt, Dopa renal dose, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Lasix up to 40mg, insulin drips). Additional patient populations include ICU transfers, neuro patients (CVA), pulmonary patients requiring Bipap, Hi-flow, and Salter.

• ACLS
• Knowledge/skill set for Cardiac medical, procedural patients (caths), and cardiac drips
