Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,539 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. The position starts 12/13/2026, requires 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts), and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care on a 25‑bed Med Tele unit serving renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology and general med‑surg patients.
• Maintain safety and quality standards, ensuring documentation compliance for central lines, foleys, C. diff and other HAIs.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, techs and charge nurses; techs staff the unit.
• Utilize equipment including EKG, bladder scanner, sit‑to‑stand, Hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps and Pyxis.
• Document using Meditech‑EBCD.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements: work at least every 3rd weekend and average 3 shifts per week.
• Float to like units (Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, Rehab) as needed.
• Meet patient‑experience standards: perform Nurse Explain and Nurse Courtesy & Respect (2X2’s); participate in daily Nurse Leader Rounds (pre‑round to learn preferred name, personal connection, validate 2X2’s; post‑round to coach and recognize feedback).
• Monitor white boards, room tidiness, safety and quality measures.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS, BLS and Basic Dysrhythmia certification.
• Adhere to dress code: royal blue scrub tops, royal blue or black pants; grey, white, black or royal blue undershirt.

Qualifications

• Telemetry specialty experience.
• Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Willingness to travel and work in Overland Park, Kansas.

Skills

• Proficiency in basic medical‑surgical procedures.
• Competent with ACLS, BLS and Basic Dysrhythmia protocols.
