Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,350 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry is sought for a position based in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and post-procedure needs. The RN will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment, ensuring clinical excellence and exceptional service.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
• Location: Reno, NV
• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• NV RN license required prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years telemetry experience
• Demonstrated ability to identify and measure rhythm strips
• Candidates must pass a telemetry competency exam
• Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cardiac medication drips (e.g., Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro)
• Able to float to ICU, medical-surgical units, and other facilities as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Adapt to floating responsibilities within scope of practice

Additional Information

• Travelers may be required to float to appropriate units based on organizational needs, including holidays and additional shifts during the schedule period
• The facility serves a large catchment area with a high-volume, fast-paced environment, including trauma and emergency cases
