Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,291 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for an immediate opening in Westfield, Massachusetts. The assignment is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate has 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and will work with telemetry monitoring equipment to assess patient status.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred)
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
