About the role
This position involves providing specialized nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac monitoring and related conditions. The role requires independent practice within a clinical setting, delivering both routine and complex patient care while ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac monitoring needs.
- Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire, including preceptorship and competency validation specific to Med Surg and telemetry units.
- Complete annual competency requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- BLS certification from AHA (required).
- ACLS certification from AHA (required).
- RN License in state of employment or valid compact license.
- One year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred).
Schedule
- Nights shift from 7PM to 7AM.
- 36 hours per week minimum, with guarantees available.
- 12-hour shifts.
