Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,194 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Newport, Rhode Island. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized telemetry equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
