About the role
Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in a telemetry unit in Washington, Missouri. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team
- Documents nursing history and physical assessment
- Initiates patient education plans
- Responds to life-saving situations
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification
Qualifications
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- NIHSS certification
Skills
The ideal candidate will have critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. They should also have the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language, read/write/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
