About the role
Provide specialized cardiac monitoring and care to patients in a hospital known for its advanced technology and supportive nursing teams. This is a travel position with a duration of 26 weeks, requiring 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver telemetry nursing care, including cardiac monitoring and assessment.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems proficiently.
Requirements
- Current Iowa or compact state RN license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of recent telemetry experience (two years preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification recommended but not mandatory.
- Strong cardiac assessment skills.
Pay
Pay rate: $1,946.00 - $2,067.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
