Job Description & Requirements

Travel Medical Respiratory RN jobs at the facility in Tuscaloosa, AL place you in a 787-bed acute care hospital with a regional trauma center. Medical Respiratory Tele is a 42-bed unit specializing in acute and chronic respiratory conditions, with nurses caring for patients with pneumonia, COPD, shortness of breath, and other lung diseases. The unit also treats medical patients with gastrointestinal issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke or surgical needs, maintaining a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a compact state
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical / tele experience
• Certified ACLS
• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong respiratory care skills are recommended

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse
• Telemetry Experience: 2 years
• Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA(Copy Needed); BLS-AHA(Copy Needed)
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• 1 Reference in the last 12 months
• 36 or 48hrs/week, RNs choice
