Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,882 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Owosso, Michigan. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. As a Telemetry (TELE) Travel Nurse you will connect patients to cardiac monitoring equipment, interpret the data, and provide bedside care. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Connect patients to telemetry equipment that measures heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years referenced in the posting).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
