Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiac care in a telemetry unit
- Perform rapid assessments and cardiac monitoring
- Float to medical-surgical units as needed
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid Iowa RN or Compact RN license
- At least 2 years of recent telemetry experience in an acute care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
