Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,785 per week

About the role

Telemetry (Specialty) position in a healthcare facility located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care on a family-oriented cardiac unit that serves a range of patients from young adults to elderly adults. The position requires a focus on general cardiac patients and adherence to established clinical protocols and safety standards. May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, or Surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a family-oriented cardiac unit serving young adult to elderly adult patients.
• Focus on general cardiac patients and adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards.
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, or Surgical units as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Minimum of 0 years of experience (as stated in the posting).
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the local rate.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Cerner system experience.
• Preferred: Specific skills related to cardiac patient care.

Skills

• Cardiac patient care.
• Operation of Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo monitoring devices.
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Experience with a 24‑bed telemetry unit, patient ratio 4:1.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
