Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,678 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, starting October 6, 2026. The role involves monitoring patients via telemetry equipment and providing bedside care. The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (telemetry preferred).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
