Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients' needs, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in step-down unit preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of step-down unit protocols and procedures.
