Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,254 per week

About the role

Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Weirton, West Virginia. The position is 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights only.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADLS, vitals, bathing, toileting, feeding, repositioning, answering call lights, blood sugars
• Titrate drips such as cardizem, amio, nitro, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, angiomax
• Read and interpret tele monitors, print strips, perform measurements, identify rhythms
• Work with respiratory therapists to administer breathing treatments and manage resp equipment
• Assist with patient care tasks under the supervision of a charge nurse

Requirements

• 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience
• Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and cardiac drips
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications

• Experience with RT equipment and ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Ability to work independently and follow protocols for patient care
