Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Managing high-acuity adult diagnoses (CHF, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, etc.)
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Floating across adult inpatient units as needed

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience required (Candidates with less than 1.5 years require manager approval; first-time travelers accepted if they have >2 years of experience)
• Must live at least 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility (previous permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler)
• Active nursing license required; Epic charting experience preferred
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS

Qualifications

• Scheduling/Compliance: Every other weekend rotation, every other holiday minimum, up to 7 days RTO allowed (strictly no RTO during the first 3 weeks of August for the Sturgis Bike Rally)

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage high acuity patients
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

56-bed Clinical Interview Unit seeking a PCU/Tele Registered Nurse. Patient ratios are 1:4 for PCU/Tele and 1:5 for Med/Surg, supported by CNAs (1:8 ratio), 24/7 free-floating charge nurses, phlebotomy, and RT support.
