Travel Nurse RN - Rehabilitation - $1,711 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 4-week assignment in Modesto, California. The position requires one year of recent experience as a Rehab RN, valid RN license, current BLS certification, and ACLS certification preferred.

Special Requirements

• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Facility in Modesto, California

Essential Work Functions

• Complete nursing assessments and document appropriately
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate them about procedures and post-operative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and ADLs
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked
• Avoidance of medication errors and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
• Safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
